The Miami Valley Academy of Family Physicians (MVAFP) in Dayton, Ohio, was established in 1948. Our main event each year is a full-day “family practice update,” featuring a variety of topics, as requested by attendees of past conferences. Invited to the conference are retired and active family physicians in central and southwest Ohio, as well as residents in 3 local residency programs, and medical students.

In addition, a social event is planned each year.
